We are looking for a developer to build a crowdfunding website that is extremely similar to www.kickstarter.com. Our scope will also need to include a store where people can add multiple things from various projects to a shopping basket, a simple password protected forum and a way that supporters can refer friends and family through social media and it gets tracked if one of their friends/family supports the same project.
If you're not familiar with crowdfunding websites, please make sure you visit [login to view URL] before bidding on this project. Ideally we would like someone with some crowdfunding experience or someone who is at least familiar with the crowdfunding model where users browse and pledge money towards projects in return for rewards. As with any crowdfunding site, the ability to easily share the project using social medias is critical to the success of the projects. The crowdfunding website will receive a percentage of the funds of successful projects and all money will need to go through a PayPal, Credit Card and/or Amazon payments system. Please be aware that we also plan to include all of the advanced features of kickstarter such as a profile page for every user, advanced search feature etc. so again, please visit their website. It is essential that the website looks professional and has a user friendly admin panel.
Also, this project has to be independently written and the script along with all the coding will be our property. Please be aware that we are planning a second stage to this project and would like to use the same developer in the future as well as for ongoing maintenance.
As part of your submission, please address the following.
1. A fixed price for the initial delivery of the website, as well as an hourly rate for ongoing modifications done to this website.
2. What are your payment terms and estimated timeline?
3. Provide samples of the more professional looking websites you have completed.
4. Provide any samples of crowdfunding websites you've completed.
5. What language(s) would you recommend building the website in and why?
6. Does your proposal include the creative design features/graphics/logos etc?
7. Indicate any other material information that may influence the pricing of your bid.
We do not require hosting services as we have already arranged that through Bluehost. Also, please note I already have a very clear idea of the design of the website so will be providing a lot of details of how I would like the site to look which hopefully makes the website design process easier.
