Convert VB2003 .Net Applicationto .Net CF 2.0 for x86 Windows CE

I have an existing .Net 1.1 program written in VB20003. The existing program consists of 1 form, which checks a web service for messages. ? If there is a new message, the form displays, and the user can select a "reply" button. ? The reply is sent, and the message is printed. The application supports printing to a Windows Printer, an OPOS printer, an XML file, or can call a 3rd party EXE to print the file. The program stays minimized unless there is a new message, or the program cannot connect to the web service. ? If there is a new message, or it cannot connect, the program must come to the top. I need to migrate the application to work on a .NET Compact Framework 2.0 environment. ? I also need to add an additional print option to print to a Com Port. ? Specifically, it needs to work CF ver 2.0.6129 or above. ? This will be a Windows CE machine running CE 4.2 (or higher). I have had a small test program written to verify that the web service can be accessed and that you can print to the com port. ? I can send the test source code if needed. ## Deliverables Needs to be a single executable and a config file. ? No installation program is needed. ?
