Access VB Contract Management Program

My client is a prime contractor working with the US government located near San Diego. ? The client prefers to work with providers who are local - a personal interview may be required. They are looking for a programmer to improve their existing integrated information system. The existing program is written in MS Access VB and assists in the management of contracts from first bid to final delivery by tracking clients, inventory, delivery, etc. ## Deliverables Knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA is required. Specifics include: Link data to Peachtree accounting software Unique bar-code to be printed on file labels for each contract Modify database structure as needed to allow for order and delivery of multiple parts for each contract (multi-line contract) Full documentation for final product (including existing components) Future requirements may include providing recommendations and setting up new hardware/software to upgrade existing network. Client is ready to begin project immediately, with an expected completion of upgraded software no later than mid-May. The client prefers to work with providers who are local - a final decision will not be made until after a 1-hour (approximate) interview with the client.
