Hi All, I looking for someone who has already coded, tested and successfully launched (and can show working examples of) a Debt Collection management system.
I am in startup mode of a boutique debt collection agency and need a software package to manage my clients,and then their customers from whom I will be 'collecting' over due debts.
My initial thoughts on requirements include:
Standard Customer Relationship Management processes for my clients.
a sub set Customer Relationship Management for their customers - a client will have more than one customer.
Facility to browse/upload files (invoices and other electronic documents - both client and their customer/s).
Templates (editable) for collection letters - including letterhead. The letters will be generated (and saved as a PDF) via a mail merge facility so that a template is selected and all / majority of fields are pre-populated
Admin console to include :
a process similar to Explorer / Thunderbird Calendar that shows tasks / actions for the day / week (call backs, debts due etc)
display by graph / numbers how many active clients, debts being actioned, debts collected, debts not collected etc
There really is nothing new under the sun, so I know someone will have done this before, and probably better.
I am open to the software used, although I have a preference towards open source - even based on sugarcrm and zoho etc I will also be open to your skilled advice and experience on other features not covered above.
