HI - I have 8+ years experience in PHP, PHP, CakePHP, Other Open-source, DotNet, Flex3.0 / FlashBuilder4.6, Air Apps(Android & IOS) and well familiar with XML OTA schema and travel/rental related business as well. From past few years I have worked with lots of travel portal like Car rental, Hotel and Flights reservation portals some are custom and some use 3rd party XML booking engine like (Sabre, GDS, Worldspan, Dollar rent a car, Thrifty Car Rental, Europcar, Hotelbeds, Sabre Synxis Hotel, Aalmo, Hertz, Fox, Budget, Avis, limoanywhere etc.) I am very much interested in this project, Can we discuss further? I am sure I can be of some help here! One of my previous projects was Holiday Hotels, a leading UK accommodation booking website owned by Holiday Autos, the biggest rental car booking site at the time. This was a system handling bookings for more than 70000 hotels from several different chains, as well as individual hotels. I was asked to totally overhaul the software to make it less error prone, and to allow affiliates to use their system to book, or let their clients book directly, via Holiday Hotels while maintaining the affiliate's branding and style ("white labelling"), among other things. On completion, they were bought by lastminute.com. I later worked with a related company who supplies up to date, detailed hotel information to travel agents world wide. Obviously I know my way around time based inventory, but I've also worked in a number of other industries, such as direct marketing, drop shipping/warehousing, book clubs, charities, lotteries, e-commerce, agent sales (Avon), executive/non-executive search (corporate head hunting), advertising, retail, etc. I would be delighted to share my experience with you.
