Condolences & Congrats module

I am the webmaster for a community website - www.CombermereSchool.com. On that site we have a section called "Condolences & Congrats". It is this section that we are requesting bids for. The Purpose This module is to allow members to post information about deaths, birthdays, anniversaries, special award & other. Functionality # A person MUST be a registered member to post information to this module. # After a member logs in, on the home page there should be a post button/link to enable that member to add an event to the module # On clicking the post button/link the member should be presented with a list of events to choose from. # Based on the event chosen, a preset template should be displayed requesting information for the event. # Included in all templates should be the profiled persons' Firstname, Lastname, optional Nickname, and year he attended or left school, a section for inputting email address of persons to receive an emailed copy of the event inclusive of the name and email address of the member who created the event. # In the module, there should be a subscription link for persons who would like to automatically receive an emailed about posted events. BEFORE subscribers are emailed about an event it MUST be confirmed by the event moderator. # A history of events should be kept, and available to logged in members to view, in date and event order. # The <more...> link at the bottom of the module should be replaced with a <Current listings ...> link. When this is clicked, a list of all the events starting with the most resent should be displayed in the left had column of the website. for example, when you click the <Staff> link under "The School" module, it is displayed int the left column. # Full details about an event from the list above should be shown in a pop-up window when it is clicked. # All info about the events should be kept in a mysql table called events. # This module shall conform to the layout and theme of the website.
