Check Mailbox

I need a middle tier process written in PHP that will complete the following process:

Will logon to a IMAP or POP3 mailbox over the Internet. (The PHP server is one location and the mail server is in another location on the publically switched Internet. Also, the mailbox type should be configurable in the process either POP3 or IMAP)

THis process will use encryption if required to logon(TLS, SSL. This should be configurable in the process)

THis process will use a username and password to logon to Inbox on this mailbox.

Once the process is logged into the mailbox will:

Check how many email messages are available for download

and as the process checks for messages it must also check to see if there is an attachment or multiple attachments with the email.

This process should save the following information from the email:

Message Header

From Name

To Name('s)

cc Name('s)

Subject Line

Message Body

Any attachments

The process should put the variables message header, From name, to name, subject, body, attachment(s) etc in a formtat to be stored in a database.

I do have a development area for you to use but would rather you provide your own so that we might test this process before we exchange money. (Your descision!)
