I'm looking for a programmer who is very versed in Joomla (will consider other open source CMS applications if you have a favorite suggestion). The project involves rebuilding an existing website (HTML, PHP) on the new CMS architecture. A very simple custom CMS was built with PHP/MySQL and it's time to upgrade to something more standard, scalable and easily administered by the end user. I am not the end user, but manage their web presence.
This project requires no design. All of the graphic assets are already created and will simply be reused in the Joomla build out.
The site consists of about 24 pages, most of which will need to be manageable by the end user via the CMS.
About half of the pages are accessible to the public, and the rest are accessible only to the end user's customers via password protection. Thus, there is also a need for the ability to administer user logins (both adminstrator users who can update the site AND customer users who can view the pwd protected area of the site).
There is 1 email form on the site allowing site visitors to submit a request directly from the site.
There is one area that allows visitors to download forms that have been uploaded by the site adminstrators.
