Bill/Payable Management Software

The project is a bill tracking software done in cakePHP or symfony. ## Deliverables **Bill/Invoice Management Software** **Purpose**: this web app is going to be used to keep track of invoices, their due dates,? payments made to them. The app is user based and will have more modules in the future, so the users should be able to have user access to these modules depending on their security settings. In this phase only bill tracking will be implemented. Application should be done in cakePHP, Final product must follow these: •? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? using ajax for the UI •? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Navigation and ease of use will be extremely important, so coder must pay attention to this aspect of the program. •? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Well commented and clean code ? ? **Users module** Manage users, add, delete, edit. Username is an email address. Must be able to retrieve forgotten passwords Users types are either normal or super users. Normal users will be given security access to modules (at this time only the billing module) **Vendors** Manager users, add, delete, edit, search Name, address, phone, fax, email, website, contact name **Bills** Be able to view bills, add, delete, search, sort the list of bills. Each bill when listed should have the vendor, invoice id, full amount, amount paid and status (paid, remaining) displayed and the due date. Each bill when clicked should have a history of payments made to it. A short history should be displayed when clicked on the bill record (using ajax). By clicking on the history record, the details should show up in another page When adding a bill, vendor must be selected, amount due, invoice date, invoice due date, currency, invoice id and a description. For Each record should also be able to upload a bill to it. When viewing an attachment, it should have these buttons view, edit, delete. When clicked on view, it should open the file in a window. Everytime a payment is made to a bill. Should record, the date, amount, and a description as well as upload an attachment. ? **Bill views.** The bills should be viewed as a list or in a calendar format. The calendar days should have the bills that are due for that day. And current day should be highlighted in the calendar. In the main page there should also be a list of overdue bills listed.
