I am looking to have a simple breadcrumb navigation trail created for my site. I want it to only display the path a customer takes not a hierachy. For example if a customer clicks on "Home" then "Motorola" and then back to "Manufacturers" it should display Home >> Motorola >> Manufacturers not the logical hierachy of Home >> Manufacturers >> Motorola. This is because my site works on a many-to-many relationship and "Motorola" can be found under multiple parent directories.
The breadcrumb display names should be the filename (not the page title) with the exception of pages that have a cgi variable "a=x". For example [[login to view URL]][1] should have a display name of "AC Charger"
[[login to view URL]][1] should have a display name of "MOTRAZRV3"
I assume the script will work on cookies to get the breadcrumb history.
The max size of the trail should be (5) display names.
It sould also reset when a customer reaches /ord/[login to view URL] or leaving a base level page. For example if a customer goes from Home >> Manufacturers >> Motorola >> MOTRAZRV3 >> 3WATTBOOSTER1
It should reset when someone leaves the 3WATTBOOSTER1 page. All of these pages will be in the form <[login to view URL]>
The only exception to this is the home page which is also in that form <[login to view URL]>
