Application Conversion : Perl + DB2 to ASP + MSSQL

It is an accounting system originally running on Apache, fully written in Perl 5+ with data stored in PostgreSQL 7.1. The application consists of the following features: Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable General Ledger Inventory Control Billing / Invoicing Check Printing Purchase / Sales Orders Customizable Taxes Multi-user Multi-company Audit Control Foreign Currency Internationalization Access Control Customers Vendors Chart of Accounts Customizable Reports Financial Statements Administration Module Backup to file/email Application Interface Use on Handheld These functions are the basic ideas for the bidders to come round with what's expected of them. The successful bidder must be very familiar with both Perl and ASP in order to work on this conversion. We need to test run the end product on a Windows based server. A staging server access can be provided upon request. Upon delivery, unencoded ASP source code and sql query setup files must be provided, and all softwares provided to the bidder from us must be completely erased. We are looking forward to work with serious bidder who knows very well of their own capability and up for the job. Successful bidder will tops the priority of our future add-ons project for the system. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2003 IIS 6 MS SQL Server / MSDE ASP language
