Convert mod_rewrite (AllowOverride FileInfo Options) to Zeus

I have installed a PHP/MySQL based image gallery on a client's website (called Gallery), and I need some help with one of the permissions aspects of the system. The Gallery software can be found here: [url removed, login to view]

The website has Linux hosting, but the server is running Zeus rather than Apache: [url removed, login to view]

Once Gallery (version 3) is installed, when I login and select Album Options/Edit Permissions from the home page (which controls who sees which images) I get a warning message saying:

--Oh no! Your server needs a configuration change in order for you to hide photos! Ask your server administrator to enable mod_rewrite and set AllowOverride FileInfo Options to fix this.--

My system administrator has confirmed that they don't want to help, so I need someone to come up with a Zeus version of the mod_rewrite script which will fix this issue (assuming that a solution exists).
