This is a very quick and simple script to do. It assumes you have already written scripts that convert coordinates and can reuse the code or can find it online - that is why the budget is low.
I need google map v3 - as large as possible with all usual functions - zoom, street view, scale in meters and feet and zoom-in square.
There will be a classic google map searchbar over the map.
Whenever user rightlicks on the map, he will get the coordinates for the location where the user clicked. The coordinates will appear as a text in the map dialog box (the one you get when you click on the marker).
Apply one restriction. If user does not zoom close enough, he will get a dialog box with text: "You have to zoom in closer to get more precise coordinates".
The coordinates will appear in 4 rows:
1) GPS 37 23.516, 122 02.620
2) Degrees, Minutes, Seconds 37 23 30, 122 02 37
3) Decimal (google format) 37.391933,-122.043667
4) UTM coordinates 10S 584658m E 4138752m N
All script has to be done in javascript. Nice clear code, no mess. If you did something very similar, please give me a link so I can have a look.
