bug fixing in a Java, html, javascript internal webapp

This is an internal website? site done with javascript, html, xml, and java which is full of bugs and very slow.? ? The coding would consist of fixing the known bugs and making the website work faster and changing and adding some new parts to the website, and some changes in design. ## Deliverables This is an internal website/web application which is used to look up a list of people and follow a series of procedures with the people found.? the problem is that the program is extremely buggy and some of the bugs need to be fixed.? I realize that the description is kind of nonsense without using the program, however we are currently setting up a test server and will provide it to serious requests so that you can see what we are talking about. We are using the tamino database to store documents in xml (about half a million), and have an apache webserver with tomcat.? We have java classes that perform queries to the database, they connect through a proprietary compoment to tamino.? They perform a petition and receive an xml document from tamino.? The classes generate? an xsl document? which? give the document? the? appropriate format, and adds images, javascript files, tables, grids, stylesheets, etc. so that it can be presented.? This is working very slowly and has several bugs, we need them to be fixed, we need the page to? work better (would? probably require ajax) ? and we need some features to be added.? there is an grid with information, we would like this information to be filtered by country, ordered by alphabetical order, by date modified, ? we need to change some colors, and order, in some forms so they are? easier to fill.? fix some bugs in the grid, since, sometimes, when information is added, the information will overlap into another field.? fix some design? issues? since? it does not work appropriately with an 800 x 600 resolution.? fix the grid component since when some columns? change place the information is lost.? fixing the? copy paste in the grid component.? exporting fixing errors (checking that email addresses are correct, not allowing more than one email per field) saving? old searches? **make the system much faster **sometimes when you save, you need to reload the page to see the saved changes, fix this and sometimes some? of the data is lost when? the changes are saved.? portal for administering different countries, and searches?
