Hello Everyone,
This is more of a personal project which has a tight budget as its debatable between how much I don't want to spend on it and should I do this manually.
I'm running a personal gallery with images taken from a URL. Now recently things have picked up and manually adding thumbs and screenshots of them is taking a little bit more time and time I'm out of.
Now, I'm looking for someone who has an idea of what I need and what I am talking about and can create this quickly with a low budget possible. However, if things work out more work will be needed to be done as part of our corporate Wordpress Plug-ins.
Now this should be a plug-in for WordPress that I can install and it would create a small admin area for this plug-in. What I need is for the following functions;
1. Ability to enter a URL
2. Ability to specify the side for a thumb nail
3. Ability to specify the side for a full screenshot
4. Ability for the plugin to visit the URL, take a screen capture at the full screen size of the a browser, then create and scale two images to the size of the thumb nail and the full screenshot size.
5. Ability for it to place the final two images (thumb nail and full screenshot) into separate folders specified within the admin area
6. Ability for the plug-in to also grab the TITLE, DESCRIPTION and TAGS from the URL/Web page.
7. The final step after it generates a thubnail, screenshot, places them into the directory, grabs the title, description and tags, is for the plug-in to generate a draft post.
i.) The TITLE from the URL/Web site, should be the title of the post
ii.) The DESCRIPTION should be the content of the post
iii.) The Keywords/Tags from the URL/Web site should be the tags/keywords of the post
iv.) the images, thumbnail should refer and create a custom field, as well same goes for the screenshot image to create custom field name and place the URL location of the image folder in there.
v.) Then of course as mentioned above save it as a draft for review.
NOTE: It would be nice to be able to enter like 20 URLS and then click submit or save, and the plug-in to do all of the above for every URL and then give a notice of completion.
That is it, pretty straight forward. If I had the time, I'd do this myself. If I had the time, I wouldn't need the plug-in either as I would be able to do it all manually.
My budget is $50 for this. Let me know if its doable. Please provide at least 3 - 4 past Wordpress plug-ins development examples to be considered.
Thank you,
