Contract PHP Developer - May 2014
We are a small development/design team looking for a contract PHP developer for an immediate start to work on numerous updates to a large scale website.
We need someone to work on site alongside us in our office. There is also the possibility of a shared work space.
Codem & Bapple build great websites and web apps for our clients and ourselves. If you are interested in being part of a small, dedicated web team, let us know, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements
- Be a competent PHP coder with demonstrated experience on small/medium size projects
- Understand PHP5 MVC frameworks and object oriented programming principles
- Understand Git or Bzr
- jQuery experience helpful
- Have a good grasp of HTML5 and CSS3
- You would have worked with MySQL
- Be able to work to a deadline within a small team, reporting to a Development Manager and Creative Director.
- Be able to apply your coding experience to approved website designs
Optional
- Have experience in Silverstripe, Wordpress or CodeIgniter/Kohana
- MongoDB experience
- Have an understanding of Linux servers + web servers such as Nginx or Apache
