This project is to build a simple audio player widget with SoundManager2 and PHP that plays MP3 files. It must do the following: 1. Nice graphical UI - 2 versions, using a) Simple "play" icon that changes to pause after user hits play. Then back to play/pause/ etc. b) Larger graphical UI that is similar to the following: [url removed, login to view] 2. It must support back / play / fwd, moving the cursor position within the audio, and volume, just like the player above. It should also have buttons for rewind 3 secs and fast fwd 3 secs, and should support slow, normal, and fast playback modes. It should also support a paused playback mode which plays 8 seconds of audio, then pauses for 3 seconds and rewinds 3 seconds and plays from that point. 3. Do buffering so that over slower connections the audio will still play well. 4. Take as a parameter either an MP3 filename OR the URL of a webcast, for example: http://us.rd.yahoo.com/finance/confcall/streetevents/SIG=137ekguj5/*http%3a//[url removed, login to view] If a URL is provided as a parameter, then record the audio to an MP3 file as it comes in. If the user hits pause or rewind, play from that point (from the recording) but keep recording. Sort of like "Tivo" for recording webcasts. 5) (If possible) The player should also have a mode where it runs as a command line recording application for a URL (example above) with no player UI displayed. Completion of the project includes delivery of the completed source files and uploading the developed flash player to my web site. My web site runs Linux. Please ask any questions before bidding.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
