Design One CSS / HTML Web Page That Will Maximize Email Signups

Need one light, fast and perfectly rendering (various browsers, screen resolutions, operating systems) landing page. Must be cool design, but simple and clean. Using CSS. Page Includes: --Text. --Images (logo and person). --Ad blocks where I can insert / delete / change AdSense or similar code. The page you are redesigning is here: [url removed, login to view] The reason I’m doing this redesign is that I built the existing page with a WYSIWYG HTML editor and it didn’t do a very good job. For example, when I view the page on computer at my screen resolution with Internet Explorer it looks fine, but there are problems viewing the page on other computers and/or at different resolutions and/or with different browsers (Firefox, Safari, etc.). Other design goals: 1) Look good (cool, clean design and layout with Web 2.0 look/feel). We don’t need to keep the current design at all, just most/all of the basic elements. 2) Introduce ourselves and spark interest. 3) Get people to sign up to our email list. That is the main action we want people to complete. That is how we will be measuring our success. Right now there’s a link to the signup page and also a couple of unimpressive buttons that prompt people to signup. This redesign needs to make the email signup aspect much more prominent, probably with a large button / image that you design.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari. Here’s how I think this project would work: 1) You ask any pre-bid questions (if necessary). I reply. You place your bid. 2) I select winning bid and we start project. 3) You (winning bidder) and I discuss whatever else needs to be discussed before you get to work. 4) You get to work and ask me additional questions as necessary. I am available via the RAC system or Skype text chat, which we can cut-and-paste into the RAC system if we want. This project is my full-time job and I am working from Europe time zone. I turn around messages very quickly (usually within minutes unless I am out for a little while). 5) You show me 1-3 different concepts / mockups. Hopefully just one, but your bid includes up to three separate mockups. 6) I pick the one I like. We make minor adjustments if necessary and finalize the design. 7) You create the web page form the design. Thanks!
