Using VS 2005 (VB) - SQL Server 2008
I have a Data Grid that connects to a sql database, to retrieve (view), and update data. THAT ALL WORKS.
I have several columns, among them 3 of particular interest.
1. Duty(Varchar) DropDownList 2. Start(datetime)Txtbox [login to view URL] (datetime) TextBox
The Start and End gridcolumns shows and accepts military time only
ie: 2300, and a function takes care of the datetime. THAT ALL WORKS
I need for you to create a sample grid, that shows the following items, along with instructions.
1. When Duty(dropdownlist) changes and the value is ie: Rose OR Violet OR Tulip THEN Start = "0000" AND END = "0000"
2. If the user enters the Alphabet "E" in the Start textbox, on lost focus
Start = "0700" AND End = "1500" OR "L" Then Start = 1500 AND End = 2300 OR "M" THEN Start = "2300" AND END = "0700"
3. Validate that Military time was entered in Start AND END and not
allow "2400". 2400 should be "0000"
Question: Is it possible to click on a row, and put that row into "Edit" mode, and tabbing out of that row call the update function?
1.
