Custom Banner rotator

**Begin edit on Aug 19 2002 - as many of the coders that have bid on this, have offered to clone all the funtionality on Ban Man Pro V. 3.0 and include all my custom modifications I am adding this as part of the written requirement - End Edit on Aug 19 2002** I need a custom banner rotator add-on for [login to view URL] this needs to be asp 3.0 compliant. This can be a modification of a free banner system (like Ad Mentor or the like) or one that you may have already coded, or this can be coded from scratch. This will not need accounting functions but will need to keep track of "deposits". The closest commercial product I have seen is Ban Man Pro V 3.0 ([login to view URL]) It is close, but does not fit exactly. This, however, may give you some idea of what I am looking for. They have a very nice demo with an admin section you may want to take a peek at. Please read the requirements below carefully. I can (and will) give more specific details if needed. I have a pretty clear picture in my mind what I want but am open to suggestions. I do some coding myself but simply do not have the time to complete this project as I need to begin marketing my site (not open to public yet) and do my real job! (marketing consultant). Not in this project but please keep in mind: When you view my site (and you should before bidding) you will see it is content driven (search engine style) and the data in these tables will mainly come from users (it is very product intensive). Users can also upload product pictures or company logos in these listing. This is for free. In the future, I intend that only listing from a user with a positive deposit on file, will allow images to be shown (e.g. they have a deposit their picture is visible - no deposit, the listing is still there but no picture). Also they will also be able to pay for each click through from their listings (like [login to view URL]). How much they pay will also determine the order there listing appears. That said, This is a future project (unless you want to throw it in!). But I want to be able to use the same interface you code so my users can use their deposit for the banners or the pay-per-click in the future. Fully funtiong source code installed on Web site This project must have: 1) All Code must be VERY well commented! 2) Browser based administration 3) Place banner code in existing pages (15-20) and have a cut-and-paste code generator for future pages 4) Browser based login for advertisers to view their statistics (from existing control panel). 5) Must have unlimited zones with unlimited banners being able to be put in each zones. Campaigns are optional depending on if you need/want them to complete your coding. 6) Each individual banner must be able to be placed in multiple zones. 7) this must Keep track of impressions and clicks for each banner. 8) There must be some type of reporting interface, by banner, zone, advertiser and/or combinations. 9) Most of the zones are determined by category and sub-categories of listing (mini search engine). New zones should be automatically created when categories or subcategories are created. 10) Be able to handle custom banners sizes, rich media banners, and third party advertisements. 11) be able to serve banners/ads by keyword 12) Be able to serve ads that meet the criteria of a specific category and/or sub-category (already defined in my existing tables) For example. If a user clicks on the "Outdoor Lighting Fixture" category and the "Hazardous Location" subcategory I want a banner served from a manufacture of Hazardous Location Lighting Fixtures. All categories/subcategories have sequential integer ID's (key) so it should not be hard to create a unique combination that acts like a keyword. (or any method you want to use). 13) Be able have the advertiser place a deposit. This advertiser's deposit will decrease based on click-throughs or impression from one or multiple banners/ads For example, if an advertiser places a deposit for $300.00 and placed 10 banners in 15 "zones" and agrees to pay $0.04 per impression, every time any of his ads/banners are served it decreases his deposit (initially $300.00) by 4 cents. When the deposit depleted his banners will no longer be served. Email should be sent automatically to advertiser when he is at 15% of original deposit and then again when his deposit is gone. 14) For Zones that have multiple banners, each banner should be served (frequency) in relationship to what the advertiser pays per impression to the total of what all the banners in that zone are combined. For example, for Zone "A" Banner 1 = $0.04 per impression Banner 2 = $0.08 per impression Banner 3 = $0.50 per impression Banner 4 = $0.25 per impression The total is $0.87 for all; so Banner 1 would be served 4.6% of the time (4/87), banner 2 - 9.2%, banner 3 0 - 57.47%, & banner 4 - 28.74% of the time. 15) Have an option for "zones", that only one ad is served (no rotation) to that zone for a specific time for a one-time charge. 16) Users will come from an already existing table in my database (not a separate table). Users at my web site already have a control panel. An interface or link will need to be added to the advertiser pages to view their stats. ## Platform Windows 2002 server or NT server Asp 3.0 compliant Access 2000 database (but need to be compliant for MS SQL as an upgrade will happen later this year.
