Code Management and Redemption Site - v1 Functional Requirements (repost)

**IMPORTANT! Please read all instructions carefully and only bid if you/your team is fully qualified for all aspects and able to absolutely deliver in the timeframes specified.

Attached are the detailed business requirements for version 1.0 of a custom system we are developing to manage the distribution and redemption of coupon codes. This will ultimately be a long-term project with multiple phases of development over the next year. Ideally, we would like to find a single vendor capable of completing all phases of development.

For each phase of development, we will want to use the following process:

1. We provide business requirements (see attached for v1.0).

2. You will draft detailed FUNCTIONAL requirements, that we will work together to finalize.

3. Our designer will provide screen designs/layouts.

4. Meanwhile, you wil draft detailed TECHNICAL requirements, that we will sign off on before any development begins.

5. You will do the programming and provide updates to our staging server on a regular basis for us to begin testing and reviewing and providing feedback on until development and testing has been completed.

If you choose to bid on this project, please provide in your description your estimated cost for steps 2, 4 and 5 above broken out. Submit the actual bid for just Step 2 (functional requirements). We will approve each step individually and that will also allow you to adjust your bid (+/- 15%) if you get into it and find it's more or less work than you can tell from the business requirements alone.

## Deliverables

For v1.0, we have to have everything done, tested and live by January 21, 2011. Therefore, that allows approximately:

- 1 week for functional requirements

- 1 week for technical requirements

- 4 to 5 weeks for programming and testing

While the amounts for each step can be adjusted as necessary, the end date cannot be.

Please do not bid if you do not feel 100% comfortable you can deliver in this timeframe.

## Platform

Our preference would be PHP/MySQL. However, we may be open to ASP .Net as well.
