Hi Visionfilms! I'm Pablo Montirón, composer and orchestrator and i'm specialising in audio visual world from some time ago (games, films, advertising, etc..). I offer myself to work in your shortfilm and would like to tell you about my way to work, so you can evaluate it: I offered to do the job in 7 to 14 days (two weeks), the second week is optional though I highly recommend to use it. The first week starts with the down payment and is purely dedicated to the compositional part (I focus in making music and image complementary, and created right emotions). Once completed the model I'll give it to you, you evaluate and tell me if you approve it. The second week is dedicated to mixing and mastering, which I make in a professional studio. Once finished, I will send you a sample of the work and if you agree then we close the deal: I send you the complete work and you send me the rest of the payment. As part of my service I will be online most of the day so you can communicate with me as often as you feel necessary. I am an experienced composer, having written for both traditional instruments (as one might find in the orchestra), and using software to create electronic tracks. For a romantic/comedy film, an orchestral or electronic would be suitable, or possibly a fusion of the two, and I would be able to cater to this combination in a professional way. If you would prefer to use acoustic instruments (such as the piano, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc), I would most likely be able to get those parts recorded for you in a high quality studio, and if this would not be possible, I would be able to very realistically emulate these sounds using computer software. As with any track for a film, it could be tailored to exactly fit your needs, and a maximum of communication would be ensured at all times to make sure that what I am writing is exactly what you have envisaged for your film. Using software, I would be able to match points in the video with points in the score (if, for example, somebody slams a door, a loud chord could be heard exactly as it slams, to increase dramatic effect). Any style could be written, and as the composer I would be happy to discuss your needs with you via email/Skype/etc. to ensure that your product is perfect for your short film.
