(1) Development of Mobile App
Customer App - Mobile App with customer booking form to push booking to fleet drivers
Customer account creation, monitor booking status and retrieve past bookings.
Integration with web service API to communicate with web app
Driver App - Mobile App to receive booking from Customer App, Accept or Reject booking from Customer App
Driver account creation, monitor booking status and retrieve past bookings.
Integration with web service API to communicate with web app
Geolocation to post location data to Web service for tracking purposes
(1a) Push Notifications feature
Groupchat/Free SMS/ Email notification for every booking and their status update to admin/HQ
Setting up of push notification feature for drivers to receive new job
(2) Development of Web Application (inclusive of Web Service)
Cloud-based web service and database to power both the mobile app and web app
Web application which runs on browser for client to retrieve and store booking details, and keep track of bookings - similar to a spreadsheet - displayed in calendar format
Web application to interface with fleet's mobile app - allowing call center/ HQ to directly push out jobs and booking to individual drivers through web application
Create, read, update and delete jobs and bookings
Track whether jobs assigned have been acknowledged or declined, and alert call center if jobs have been declined or unacknowledged
Web service will collect geolocation data from fleet drivers mobile apps and store in cloud-based database for future retrieval
(2a) Google Map Integration to track locations of drivers
Retrieve geolocation data from cloud-based database
Display data and plot onto annotations/ points using Google Maps API and display in web application
See details of individual driver when selecting annotation/ points
(2b) SMS Notifications for non smartphone users
Integration of a 3rd party service provider to programmatically send SMS'es to drivers if they do not have smartphones
(2c) User/ Driver Management
Add new users/ drivers through web application, and the ability to remove/ delete drivers
User management system to update profile, and company/ personal details of drivers
