My solution is to take this: 1. camera firstly take some object with known size (e.g. credit card) to be initialized, then a ruler shows up on the screen 2. camera takes baby's foot into view with same distance as last capture then user can read the number on the ruler I can also port this iPhone app to Android or Windows for you.
