The goal is write an universal low level Android app that restarts the device if the main application is not responding. The environment is rooted, full screen browser home screen app, the default systemUI and launcher is removed. The solution needs to be installed, so not the part of the kernel. It needs to be run on any device. The main app sends heartbeat messages to the watchdog app, if this message is not received a cold restart needs to be done. Applicants need to describe in a few sentences how would they achieve this.
