Breast cancer detection in digital mammograms

hi, i am an electrical engineer. i have expertise in embedded system design and matlab. i have experience working with medical images for classification. previously i have worked on X-ray images for the detcetion of cancer in the lungs. Similar classification through ANN can be used for the mammographs. As per the information provided, you mainly require a matlab program to accept the image data and give a result. this can be done quite effectively using digital image processing (dip) tools in matlab.
