I understand your task as I've done couple or more such projects on financial data for prediction and modelling using ANN. The platform I've used is Matlab. SO, if you're fine, we could test out your theory. You can see few past projects listed here on data analysis and pattern recognition. So far, I recall, I'd designed a GUI for two of them to ease the input and outputs. The visualization of the type of data at hand is the FIRST STEP, and hence the FIRST MILESTONE. I have a BSc (Hons) in Computing Systems, also my final year special dissertation was a machine learning project for semantic disambiguation (applied to machine-reading of human-written text). I also have a few years experience in Forex algo-trading (not ANN, but self automated). I have made many ANN architectures in software, NONE of them where built (and tested) in such a short time as 5 days (I only bid 5 days here in order to get this message to you). You need to find someone who is willing to work with you over a long period (not for your rate-offered, they should have the same goal and share the work with you). I have built some ML programs for forex trading on metatrader using R and MQL4. It is difficult to workout the scope of your task from the explanation provided. I think it is restrictive only to predictions. Could you elaborate more on this.
