We are an Asia based start up travel company focusing on bespoke experiential packages targeting women 25+. We use storytelling to set apart our products to decommoditize the experiences by arousing connections to the travel beyond merely pricing. These story based marketing narratives differentiate our product from competitors. We are seeking a highly attuned creative writer capable of crafting highly authentic and compelling copy. We like to describe it as Alanis Morissette delivering rhythmic poetic beats in the soaring style of Maya Angelou; capturing Oprah's preternatural empowering voice in the context of J. Peterman style travelogue stories; scripting crisp motivational bon mots similar to Nike's Just Do It women's campaign. Successful applicant will develop highly engaging copy to accompany image vignettes (see attached examples) for website content and ancillary media. Writer should have strong understanding of copy writing with flair for commercial / promotional media. Deep knowledge of Asia travel is a plus to capture and convey the intuitive feel for environs. Writer will have portfolio and/or sample demonstrating similar style of writing. Each editorial narrative will vary between 100 - 400 words depending on format. Additional details will be shared with successful applicant. Successful candidate may be retained for ongoing work by mutual agreement.
