An OS X shell script that will work with built-in firewall (all intel macs):
- Will check if Firewall is on, and if not, it will start it.
- Allow/Disallow ongoing and ingoing connection for software by typing it's name only or name + path (2nd way). Script will remember setting for each item (app), by saving to .dat file and when started will load settings and auto configure firewall when settings for these files has been changed.
- Script will also check if the machine is connected to a VPN/proxy, and disconnect it when detected.
- Script will set back DNS settings to defaults if diffrent
- Script will check if there is Internet Connection, if not it tries to reset internet connection settings
- Add/Remove hosts (ip/domains) to block
