Applescripts to Transfer File's Creation Date and Time to Filename and Back

THE JOB I would like three AppleScripts created as droplet-type apps, each to run independently and manually at Finder level on batches of files that are dropped onto it: 1) First script: renames a file by adding the file's creation date and time to the head of its filename 2) Second script: reads file creation date and time at head of filename (as embedded by first script), and sets the file's creation date and time to match. Perhaps one error check could be included to make sure head of filename contains creation date and time as expected. 3) Third script: removes the creation date and time from the head of the filename (as embedded by first script), effectively returning the filename to its original state. WHY I NEED THIS For my work, I must transcode video files at the finder level. Problem is that my new, transcoded files will contain the creation dates and times of when they were transcoded, and the dates/times they were recorded in-camera will be lost. These Applescripts are meant to "encase" the original in-camera creation dates/times within the filename, which the transcoding process *does* pass on to the new, transcoded files. Then, the second Applescripts will read the "encased" creation dates/times for each file, and re-set their creation dates/times accordingly.
