Objective is to create? a? logo design and company name layout on behalf of a start up? consulting business.? ? We would expect to have ownership and rights to the image for potential use on business cards, company letterhead, company business correspondence and web page applications.? We would expect to have the project files used to generate the approved end product.?
We are open to a total new design concept.? Apart from that, we do have an idea of a? font and image? inspired by another company.? ? (See "sofitel" examples above-- for inspiration only.)? Although with these examples we are? not? positive minded? toward the dark background.

Origin of the Company Name: ? "Achats" is “purchases?? in the French language.? The French also have? "compagnie" as a word for "company"? abbreviated as "co." So, the two words are? put? together to form achatsco.? Owner is American but a bit of a Francophile.
Primary Business:? The actual buying of furnishings, equipment and supplies for hotels and resorts (the “hospitality?? industry) ? new openings and renovations.? ? Typically, purchasing custom hotel furniture and decorative items.? This is done by a bid process, purchase orders, invoices, etc.? 20 years experience doing this type of work, formerly under hotel company employers.
Secondary Business:? My role can be as complex as being involved from start-to-finish by consulting with hotel owners who do not know exactly? what they want apart from the desire to improve their hotel’s appearance on a project budget.? ? We can estimate costs, submit product ideas and samples, work with a designer, negotiate and buy the things, followed by logistics management of shipments and final oversee of the installation of the new furnishings at the hotels.
