Hi there the first question I wasn't to ask was which proxy server are you using? There are 2 ways to traffic shape connections in Linux first is to use IP tables. Second is to use a proxy like squid. For one of my previous employers I had set up a script which used to do traffic shaping using squid. I am sure we can do something similar. Hi, I'm a Linux administrator since 2005 year. I don't think that it is possible traffic shaping without ip adress or mac address. But possible is dynamically add rules for traffic shape for new ip addresses. If You choose, I can write a script for You. Regards Maciej
