I have a need for an Linux Apache expert to help secure access to a web server and site.
The provider must find a way in Linux and or Apache to restrict access to a specific web site by allowing a visitor to request a maximum of 500 pages per 24 hour period.
The provider must also allow for a banned IP address file in which I can enter a list of IP addresses that are completely banned from the server.
The provider must prepare written documentation explaining the steps of how to configure these two things. I will do the work myself on my server by following these instructions.
The provider will only get paid if this works after I have followed the instructions, so if you have never done something like this before or do not know enough about doing something like this then please do not bid.

This can be done using fail2ban software, with custom regex to catch 500 errors. I will provide you documentation.
