We have a .NET windows application that displays a user interface, allows users to select a file and certain options. This file is then uploaded to a server and then downloaded again. Of course there is a lot more to it than that, but in essence thats it. We want to make this application run on as many machines as possible, at the very least Windows, Mac and Linux. Ideally it should be browser based perhaps in some Javascript derivative. Access will be given to source code and although the specifications are not yet documented, they will be suitably explained. Moreover, to make portable platform to support in all devices i.e. MAc, windows and Linux, it is certainly not feasible for a Microsoft technology like C# but it is doable for JAVA based frameworks. Users will just need there browser in both desktop or devices to access the application. The web site will have a responsive design for mobile users.
