Adobe Indesign Table Data Merge Collapse Column

I have some data in excel that I use for data merge into a table in Adobe Indesign. I have included sample data (the same data in excel for easy reading and csv for the data merge source file) and sample table (indesign). The sample table (indesign) has the data merge fields already in place for preview.

The challenge is that sometimes in the merge a column is empty. When this is the case I want the column to collapse itself programatically during the preview. Is this possible?

I found this link where someone describes doing the same thing for rows but I want for columns, I also don't think a script would work in the preview mode. Does the script only apply itself at time of printing? I'm not sure how to use the script so I can't see for myself. It would be great if you could give me instructions on how to use this script and how to make one of my own for columns that updates the view by collapsing columns in preview mode: [login to view URL]

Hi there, I have been chatting with some freelancers online and there seems to be some misunderstanding about the solution so I have included a screencast of the problem so that you can see what I want.

The screencast shows that the 'remove empty cells' option is selected in the preview mode but the columns are not removed. The solution i want should remove the columns in the preview mode. You can see the column of zero's moves from left to right, what i want is for it to be removed in each preview view.

I include two file formats for the screencast. swf (shockwave) is the best quality but i'm not sure how to open it. .mov is bad quality but the screencast app i am using only produces swf files so i had to take a video of the video with my phone. I couldn't find a good free conversion app. Sorry for that.

I have also included a copy of the table file in the older indesign format in case you cannot open it (see table1 file). Please revise your bids and make sure that you know how to do the work. Withdraw your bid if you do not know how to do it. Thank you.
