Do some 3D Modelling

I need to prepare 3D scene in [login to view URL] (WebGL) to simulate an vision therapy training environment like in real space with a Brock string. A Brock string is a white string with a color beads in different distances. ([login to view URL]) One end of the string is held between eyes (or at the nose) and the other one is tied somewhere in front of eyes in a distance (e.g. 3m / 10 feet). A viewer holding one end looks at a specific bead and as he/she is concentrating on id by both eyes, an optical illusion occurs: he/she see two strings going through the bead. Each from different direction - one from left to the right, the other from right to left. As he/she looks at another bead. The same "X"-like pattern occurs, but in the center of that bead. See this video to undarstand, what should be seen. As you see in 3D, it is very easy to use some string and try it alive. [login to view URL] I am not 100% sure it can be done in computer graphics, but I also do not know why not. So the whole task is to make 3D string/rope (of some configurable width/volume, not just a line, e.g 1mm, 3mm, 5mm and rope like texture) pointing from the viewer's virtual center of eyes (e.g., a nose can be also displayed on screen, as it is seen by eyes when looking down) to some configurable distance (e.g. 1 meter, 3m, 10m, 20 m). And some environment (e.g a room). The key requirement is to apply anaglyph effect - to make it visible in 3D by red/blue glasses. If would be nice to have also an eyes distance and scene depth perception configurable. I chose [login to view URL], as I expect it is easy to be done for someone understanding 3D graphics. There is already an anaglyph filter available. See demo [login to view URL] But if you are good in OpenGL, it can be done in any platform, not strictly three.js.
