I need a little Java software that does the following: - check/watch a folder destination for new XML files - it should work with different threads for each xml added (up to a maximum) - so if I add 15 files it should process all of them if the maximum of threads is 15 - so,how it should be made clear, that each file is only processed by a single thread (no doubles) - read any new XML file - for each specified XML field send data to db with jdbc connection - any errors should be stored in a log filer - threads closes if no new files are there to be processed (e.g more threads than files) - after processing move files to a subfolder that is not watched Some guidelines: - No user interface needed! Just line output in Terminal - should work on Windows, Mac and Linux (Ubuntu!) - The JDBC connection is no "normal" connect, but to SAP HANA so some litmus/restrictions apply: see [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
