I don't know who or what gave you the idea that just with LINKS you can rank a website on Page 1 after the Penguin update of Google. We can help with LOCAL listings, but first get out of the mindset that LINKS will get you there. SEO has changed after the Panda, Hummingbird, Penguin updates (last Penguin 3.0 update launched on 17 October 2014). Just LINKS will not help. SEO is about complete web promotion and presence and not JUST about LINK building. These are the order of things for better ranks; Website condition (all onsite parameters needs to be addressed, you will see the comprehensive onsite recommendations we will send on over 35 SE parameters) Unique content on the website pages Fresh and unique content (Blog on the site updated frequently) Social media reach and presence (heavily linked to SERP rankings) and then comes Link building. If any SEO expert is telling you otherwise, then; i. Do not listen ii. If you do listen then - Best of Luck (you will need it) What does the algorithm changes mean for you as a website owner? It means that stop looking at SEO from the prism of link building. One thing is clear - people who try to manipulate the SE algorithm to boost rankings (buying link packages) will no longer be rewarded. The moment Google catches it is game over. Which MEANS; Google now says, a site owner does not need to convince Google or its algorithm. S/he needs to convince the users. If the users coming to the website is/are happy - SO WILL BE GOOGLE.
