My site has been active online for nearly 7 years now. All this time I have been trying to get it rebuilt on a newer framework. Rebuild is in progress, but I am not yet happy with the front end design. I'm looking for someone who can do a better job. I have also posted a contest for a redesign of the front page of my site, and we will see whether the contest or this project post proves the better method to find the right person for the job. If you want the job you will need to show me what you can do by providing your vision for a new design/front page of my site, which currently receives about 50,000 monthly visitors. It is a FREE site for short story writers/readers around the world and needs a mobile friendly and responsive design. Winning designer may be hired to help implement their design throughout the site, and may work either independently or with existing front and back end team to help accomplish task. Theme of site is 'Writers are STARS', and site is for users of all ages and races, but accepts only stories written in English. Front page will feature stories and/or authors of the day, week, and month, so changes regularly. Looking for fresh ideas to give the site a new/updated look that will be exciting and attractive for both existing and new users, and be simple to use.
