Hi,
I have been creating web applications for the Department of Health in Western Australia for 4 years and I have lots of experience developing web pages and websites that look nice and is also functional.
Before I commit to this I need to know the following information, as it is very important you understand what is required to build your webpage.
- Where is this website hosted?
- How will you accept payments? This normally have to go through a payment gateway which charges a fee for its use.
- Will this work include setting up the web page on a web server?
- Billing address and peoples information like name, email address and phone number needs to stored some where, normally in a database. Have you considered this? If not then this will be extra work you need to consider. I am able to built this part to at extra cost for $500. This is part is built to run on the web server.
- Have you considered using SSL (Security Certificates)? This encrypts the data being sent from the web browser to the web server. You normally need to purchase Security Certificate to do this unless you are able to get one through your organization or you already have one for the current site. If you do not have this, you may be liable for damages if someone was able to steal peoples personal details from your website.
Thanks
Nathan
