Our web site has had the same look for over ten years and we would like to bring it up to date with modern graphics and a clean look. The current site can be viewed at http://nic.com. The site is a front end for the actual selling website at https://store.nic.com. The website has a home page, one further info page at [login to view URL] and a link to [login to view URL] which is four pages for input and display of domain name queries. Currently it is six pages in total. All other links on these pages are to pages at https://store.nic.com. The design of the store pages are not part of the project. The only changes I will make to [login to view URL] is the color scheme to match the new home page if necessary.
I would like a home page that allows me to modify links in order to feature products at different times. For example the current home page is a table with twelve hyperlinks to eleven different product pages at [login to view URL] I can promote different products or feature a sale price by changing the table order or table text. I'd like the new home page to have similar flexibility, or possibly a featured hyperlink to a new page where I can list specials, new products, etc., however the home page gets the most views so burying specials on an internal page is not the ideal. I'm open to design ideas. If you are skilled some of the features of [login to view URL] such as a login box or search box can be embeded in the home page by including the appropriate html or js code.
