SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:\r\nThe Multimedia Producer will play a key role developing multimedia content that furthers program goals and institutional objectives. The Multimedia Producer will be able to conceptualize and produce highly innovative pieces to support wed-based, environmental and presentation projects.\r\nThe Multimedia Producer will create content that will live on the website, will be shared with other social change-makers and organizations, and will be used during live programming and presentations.\r\nThe Multimedia Producer will be responsible for the creation, acquisition, metatagging and managing of rights and permissions for graphical and media elements. You must be well versed with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Flash. The ideal candidate will possess three years related work experience.\r\no Develop concepts for short- and long-form multimedia pieces\r\no Use excellent visual storytelling skills to produce pieces integrating a wide range of media\r\no Work with program staff to learn about foundation initiatives\r\no Generate scripts, storyboards, and schematics based on initiatives\r\no Manage each multimedia project from start to finish\r\no Find, select and assign work to the appropriate vendors, including videographers, animators, graphic designers, map makers and orders when needed for implementation\r\no Plan shoots when necessary, including scouting locations, reserving equipment, hiring crew, making logistical and transportation arrangements\r\no Research, locate and acquire images, videos and multimedia for eLearning content\r\no Edit Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator images\r\no Help design and layout interactive e-books\r\no Maintain catalog of media resources, including metadata and copyright/licensing information\r\no Develop storyboards for simulations and animations\r\no Enhancing GUI and intuitive navigation and interfaces\r\no Source and license media found on the web, in books/journals and on TV\r\no Draft materials releases, usage agreements and vendor contracts\r\no Develop scopes of work\r\no Establish schedules\r\no Create/manage budgets\r\no Assure each phase of projects gets appropriate approvals\r\no Confidently articulate ideas to groups, large or small\r\no Capture and archive raw and finished assets and media\r\no Stay abreast of rich media techniques, emerging technologies and latest web trends\r\no Provide strong knowledge of web design/usability principles\r\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\r\no 3-5 yrs experience as a multimedia producer\r\no Excellent conceptual and visual storytelling skills\r\no Ability to create and script compelling narratives\r\no Excellent visual sense, project management skills, high energy, interpersonal skills, team work, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once\r\no Ability to quickly grasp complicated subjects, troubleshoot ahead of time and an unwavering attention to detail are essential\r\no Demonstrate senior-level knowledge of a broad range of design, code and presentation tools including but not limited to Adobe Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop; HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, Action Script 3; Premiere After Effects, PaperVision.\r\no BA/BS or equivalent combination of experience and educationRequired Soft Skills:\r\no Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.\r\no Capable of representing the company to clients and partners.\r\no Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.\r\no Highly self motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.\r\no Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.\r\no Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.\r\no Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.\r\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\r\no Understand social justice\r\no Video and sound editing\r\no Creating and integrating graphics, animation, sound effects and music\r\no International experience\r\nPlease see: [login to view URL]
