Please check the attached specifications before bidding. We expect this to be a team work, so it may not be suitable for a single developer. Experience in video streaming is a must and any prior experience in similar requirements is preferred.
This project is a front end website that would have all the basic functionalities for a UGC (User Generated Content) like YouTube. The site will connect with a back-end video-server via APIs for content storage, transcoding, video-players etc. The back-end itself is not part of this project, only the connectivity to it.
The site can use open source platforms and module, but we must have full ownership of all the code, other than the open source code or purchased module.
Bidder can choose the development platform. Bidder can choose a CMS (Content Management System) as a base for the site, if they want.
Preferred development settings, (not mandatory);
Environment – PHP or .Net
CMS (if used) – Drupal
Video server backend – Kaltura ([url removed, login to view]) APIs([url removed, login to view])
The bid should include;
Project Management
Production implementation on our hosting server
Initial Ad-servers/Ad-network connectivity
Two months monitoring and maintenance on the production server
