Add Hit Counter To Flash MP3 Player

I have a flash based MP3 player that has built in Ratings (up to 5 stars) that we will put on our website to play our music. I would like to add a Hit Counter to the MP3 Player so that it adds up and displays the total amount of times any one of the songs has been played by people who visit our website.
