I have a database that records longitude and latitude in each record. each record is allocated to a specific 'Type'. I need a layout that displays a google satellite view with different markers for each 'Type'. User should be able to select which types to display on the map : all types or just type 'A' or Type A + Type B + Type D etc. User can then click on marker and if required click to go to the specific record for that marker.

Hello, Yes, I can provide you with a very effective solution for this that does everything you ask. My question is, which version of FileMaker Pro are you using? Ideally it will be FileMaker Pro 13. Also, on which platform, Mac , Windows or FileMaker Go on iPhone/iPad? Today I have managed to work up a prototype that you can try out to see how it works...
