Create VB script for exporting Excel to SQL

If you provide me with Excel spreadsheet, I can convert it to SQL database or I can make a script for you which will copy data from Excel spreadsheet to SQL database (You need to provide SQL table structure).

Hi. I can create a VBA macro to connect to the Sql database and run direct queries to ad the data (this is the simplest form). A better solution will allow you to also select which columns to update and to provide credentials through a user form (more effort / a higher price).

1) Create a macro enabled excel file where the VBA procedures are coded. 2) The VBA procedures will be available whenever Excel App is open. 3) The procedure will import the information from a specific file with normalized data and upload to SQL table. Data should have a finite number of columns which shall represent each data set or data column in SQL. The number of rows can be variable. Requirements: SQL Credentials SQL Table Structure

It can be done using External tables approach in Oracle where a file excel file can be placed at location and accessed in database using external table. Later can be loaded to any staging based on requirement.

well we can do that by writing some batch scripts, those can be run easily by just double click on those. these scripts will be run on every version of windows. there is no need to install extra tools or soft wares.

I would create an Excel plugin in xla format so you would be able to export data to SQL directly. Excel supports database operations via ADO interface (Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects Library) natively. Exporting data to Microsoft SQL database from Excel can be implemented very easily.
