We have a client that is a public company. We prepared a lengthy spreadsheet showing a valuation for the parent company and its 8 subsidiaries. Now, from those spreadsheets, we need to extract the prepared information for each subsidiary separately to show the Use of Proceeds, income statement, cash flow, balance sheet for each subsidiary and for the parent company as a whole. This needs to be done quickly. Also extremely confidential.
Each of the 8 subsidiaries are all in a different format and use different revenue and expense categories, the best way I can think to produce the consolidated statements in our business plan format is to build 8 income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in our business plan format and then consolidate those into one set of financial statements for the main company. Most of this has been done in the main excel file and just needs extracting into separate files. We have an excel file format you can use.
