Section B: Project Management Start to develop a project proposal to install wireless networking hubs to provide wireless connectivity for retail stores co-located at an airport. Assumptions are to be clearly stated. Part 3. Project Resourcing a) Identify the Work Packages for the project to install a wireless network over a 9 week period – include a diagram showing the hierarchical nature. Your explanation of the Work Packages should include the resources involved (people and key parts/materials). Assume staff salaries are £24,000 per year and develop a cost estimate for the project that identifies clearly (preferably tabulated) each of the Direct Costs. b) Given that the workshop to support this business activity will incur Fixed Costs equivalent to your student id (in £) which is a negative Cash Flow in Year 0 – examine the yearly Cash Flows during Years 1 – 5 (preferably tabulated) given that yearly net incomes (after deducting costs) will vary (annually) from 20% to 40% (of your choice) of your student id. Calculate the Payback Period and ROI (Return on Investment) for the workshop. Is your project proposal worth doing if you take into account the ‘Time Effect of Money’ (10% discount factor)?
