Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Eldhose. I am very much interested in your project. I am a Chemical Engineer and right now I am doing PhD research. I was an employee of ANSYS INC and I have ample experience with Fluent package. I get the feeling that your problem can be solved by using either Euler-granular multiphase model or a DPM model depends on the density. If you would like me to write a udf, I can do that with ease. In addition, I have worked on a similar project which was to model a blast furnace with combustion. 14 days is a very optimistic number considering the fact that we might have to optimize the mesh size and try out different models to which one will suit your problem the best.
