Copywriting for Lemon Law website + Blogging

I am looking to work with a creative, consistent, and well informed writer to develop a first class Lemon Law, Consumer Fraud, and Defective Product website. Initially focused on the USA, but could expand to other countries in the future. I hope to be as clear as possible in expectations, and if you are interested, please express your own questions or concerns. The ideal candidate for me would: • Be knowledgeable about the legal world, perhaps law or pre-law students, former govt. employees, paralegals, etc. Obviously it'd be fantastic to have experience in the "Lemon Law" field. However, the writing should be focused on the layperson and high-level expertise is certainly not needed. • Able to keep up with legal news & developments. Product recalls, lawsuits, etc... I will gladly help train on using RSS feeds etc to stay completely up to date. • Have an engaging, friendly writing style. Please don't be afraid to develop some real character and a strong voice. • I hope to find someone with experience in the general blogging dynamic - commenting on other blogs for trackbacks, engaging in conversational threads that develop on our own blog, etc. Please understand - I don't expect you to be doing SEO duties, or to go crazy trying to find links, but a part of this job will be reaching out to the rest of the community. • Have experience with wordpress, or other blog platforms a plus. We will probably end up using a modified wordpress install with a gradual transition to an in-house system. • Initially be able to assist in developing some "core content" for the website - general Lemon Law guides, basic overviews of federal and state statutes. This will then transition to maintenance and expansion - news related items and more specific articles. • It shouldn't need to be said, but ORIGINAL CONTENT. There's no problem scraping a paragraph or two to quote or grabbing a picture in a fair-use manner, but, at the least, every post should be a thoroughly reworded summary of other content, and typically a real statement, opinion, or interesting bit of knowledge or news.
